Hello everyone – hope you are having a great week. The current Board met this past Tuesday night to solidify our Board for next season. We did not receive any interest from the general membership for one of the four Executive Positions (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary). When that is the case, the current Board recommends an Executive Board and votes to approve the recommendation. The following persons were approved for the Executive Board:
President – Doug Bartolowits
Vice President – Matt Griffin
Treasurer – Bethany Kelly
Secretary – Dan LaGamba
The following appointed voting positions were then filled and approved by the Executive Board
Registrar – Ritch Rupert
Softball Director – Fast Pitch – Nick Beatty
Softball Director – Slow Pitch – Steve Bruno
Baseball Director – Tball thru Instructional – Dave Lorence
Baseball Director – Farm thru Little League – Jeff Steigerwald
Baseball Director – Pony thru Colt – Pat Murray
Equipment Manager – Baseball – OPEN
Equipment Manager – Softball – Ray Clarke
Ways and Means/Asst. Treasurer – Amy Bonati
Concessions Manager – OPEN
Field Manager – Josh Jenca
Social Media/Website Manager – JJ Jarosinski
As you can see, we still have a couple open voting positions to fill. We are always looking for more people to get involved, especially at the younger levels so that we have people in place for a longer period of time. Our league is thriving and this is an opportunity to come aboard and help ensure that our future remains bright. If you have an interest in one of these positions, please let me know. We have people still in place that would be happy to help you during the transition. Bethany was concessions manager last year and is willing to meet with you and help out where needed. Same for Matt, who was our Equipment Manager for the last several years.
Finally – we need to take a moment to thank the following people for their time and talents that they gave to the Board and this organization for many years. They aren’t leaving the organization but they are leaving the Board.
